WHEAT :- India is the fourth largest country in wheat production. Uttar Pradesh is the largest production of wheat and Punjab comes next. Wheat is a grass, originally from the fertiile crescent region of the near east, but now cultivated worldwide, Globally, wheat is the leading sourceof vegetable protein in human food. Having a higher protien content than either maize ( corn) or rice. Wheat is a key factor enabling the emergence of city-based societies at the start of civilization be’cose it is one of the first crops that can easily cultivated on a large scale and had the additonal advantage of yielding a harvest that provide long term storage of food. It is a concentrated sources of vitamin,minerals and protein. 100 grams of wheat contain about 12.60 gms protein, 1.50 gms fat, 71 gms carbohydrate , 12.2 gms fibre and 3.2 gms Iron. Wheat is the major ingredient in most breads,rolls,crackers,cookies,biscuits,cakes donghnuts, muffins, pancakes, waffers,noodles pie crusts, ice cream cones macaroni , spaghelti, pudding pizza and many prepared hot and cold breakfast food.

    Yellow Corn (Maize) :- In India Maize is grown in both Kharif and Rabi Season. The Indian Maize crop is estimated to be 21.5 MYN MT, 80% of the crop is Kharif and 20% is Rabi Crop. Maize has got widespread usage in Industries like Animal Feed-poultry and cattle, Wet & Dry corn Milling, Grain Based Distilleries and lastly for Human consumption as food. Lately Indian Maize is getting very well accepted in world markets and exports are continuously rising to South East, Far East and Middle East Asian Nations. Indian Maize has another quality which is that it is a NON GMO Maize.

    BARLEY :- Barley is cultivated as a Rabi crop in India, with sowing being undertaken from October to December and harvesting from March to May. The total production of Barley is estimated between 1.5-1.8 Myn Mts. Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh account for more than 80% of the country's production. Barley is majorly used in Breweries, Animal Feed and Food Industries. Every year smaller quantities are exported in the global markets too.

    Rice :- Rice is a cereal grain which forms an important part of diet of many people worldwide making it the second-most consumed cereal grain. It is basically categorized into long-grain and medium-grain and is used for direct consumption as well as for sweet dishes, risotto and many Spanish dishes. Rice is cultivated both the seasons in India and normal crop estimation is 100 million tons produced in totality.
    Melet (Bajra) :- Bajra is cultivated as a Kharif crop in India, with sowing being undertaken from July to September and harvesting from October to December. The total production of Bajra is estimated between 7-8 Myn Mts. Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra are the major producing states. Barley is majorly used as Food product, Breweries, Animal Feed.
